In module 5, students will break into teams and build a web startup as a final project. Project ideas will be submitted, teams will be defined, URL’s and trademarks will be registered, corporations will be formed with stock issued to team members, and a bank account will be opened under the corporation. Team members will work together under the supervision and guidance of their instructor(s) to complete their application and to go live on the web. By the end of this module, students will have an understanding of:
- How to start a company
- How to work in a team environment
- How to monetize their application ideas
